Winter Wonderland

The school was transformed into an amazing Winter Wonderland.

With all reindeer in top form, they escorted Santa and Mrs Claus to the Moat in Lisnaskea. The school was delighted to have six of Santa’s elves for the night. The elves took the children from one room to another.

Santa looked in top form and presented each child with a gift. He looked very relaxed and comfortable on his high- backed tartan armchair in his grotto. The grotto (as well as all the wooden stools, seats and the wooden reindeer) were kindly made by Lisnaskea Men’s Shed. The school is extremely grateful to The Men’s Shed for their support.

It was the first time that Mrs Claus has ever visited the Moat. Mrs Claus read a story to the children, while they munched cookies and sipped on hot chocolate or cool refreshing drinks.

The elves packing station was a busy spot with the children willing to help the elves wrap up the gifts and stack them, ready for Christmas Eve.

The face painting, games and all the festive stalls proved popular with all.

‘This was a wonderful night for the families and the community. My thanks go to a wonderful PTFA that worked extremely hard to make this such a magical experience. It truly was a night to remember.’ Mrs Humphreys
