P3 have had a very busy day Ditch the Dark day. We did lots of work on road safety. We went outside to our Zebra crossing and practised crossing. We discussed how important it is to Stop, Look & Listen. We then discussed how some cars are electric and how they can’t be heard as easily and how important it is to look again.
We came back inside and looked at the road safety calendar and discussed how the time is changing this weekend and what that means.
We also looked at reflective clothing. We shone a torch on to the reflective parts. We could clearly see how light reflects from it to help people to be seen when they are wearing it.
P3 then created posters with a very important message - ‘Be bright, Be seen.’
