Let’s Go Safely Together
Along with our colleagues in Translink we’re looking forward to welcoming pupils back on board school transport from 1 September. It’s important we work together to make sure we all travel together as safely as possible.
Here’s how parents and pupils can help.
1 – Post-primary pupils must wear a face covering on all transport and we’d encourage younger pupils to wear one too. Exemptions apply for those who are unable to wear a mask.
2 – Wash your hands before every journey and use hand sanitiser when you get on board.
3 – Do not travel if you have any symptom of Covid-19 or have been advised to isolate.
4 – Think about your journey. Can you get to school another way? Perhaps walk, scoot or cycle? This will reduce the pressure on our vehicles.
