This morning we were delighted to host a fund raising breakfast in aid of the Northern Ireland Air Ambulance. The ladies in our school kitchen were up very early to prepare and then serve all the lovely food. Thank you for such a wonderful effort 🤗 Thank you also to Malcom Glenn and his team from SEFF who set up a fabulous table of vegetables grown on their own allotments, donations from which went towards this very worthy cause. It was lovely to welcome so many of our school families together to enjoy a breakfast.
Our school day started off with a very interesting Assembly hosted by Hazel and Albert McClelland who are volunteers for the Northern Ireland Air Ambulance charity. Hazel explained to us all the details about the helicopter 🚁 used, the staff and the equipment and training each member of the team needs to be onboard all the different call outs the helicopter 🚁 has had over the past number of years. We were all amazed by how many of the staff and children had seen the red helicopter 🚁 in our skies locally.
