Today we were delighted to welcome Paula from Dog Trust to school. She spoke to us all about how to safely behave around dogs. She brought lots of cuddly dog 🐶 teddies and other dog themed accessories for us to see and to use to keep us and our dogs safe. Paula explained how we shouldn’t give a dog a tight hug, they prefer to be stroked. Also never to make loud noises as we may scare the dog and they may get a fright and cause harm to us, also how we shouldn’t go too close with our face. We should leave dogs who are sleeping, eating or resting alone. She explained how we behave around our dogs puts us and our dogs at risk. We all agreed that we love our dogs and we will take good care of them and us. 🐕 🐶
