The P1/2 children had an amazing treat. They got to meet a real baby. The baby girl visited the class as part of the Roots of Empathy programme. She is almost six months old. The children sang a welcome song and were allowed to touch her feet as form of a greeting. They then discussed some of the milestones that the baby had achieved, such as smiling, playing, sleeping and rolling over. They also measured the size of the baby in blocks. To finish the session, the children sang a goodbye song. 💕
