Well the day finally arrived. We have been so excited for our space adventure.💫 We boarded our fun bus with Mrs McConkey and her boom box. She played requests all the way there. Before we knew it we had arrived! We enjoyed our school snack provided by the Moat Kitchen. Then we were transported into the world of space aviation - we became space rocket engineers!🚀 Our lovely guide Heather gave us instructions which we followed, we stuck, coloured measured and taped and wow... what creations! We took our rockets 🚀 to the launch area...filled them with just enough fuel (H2O - which we knew was water!) then Heather attached them to an air compressor...we counted down 5...4...3...2...1...blast off and blast off they did! With GREAT excitement each of our rockets were airborne! We were so impressed!
We then went to the visitors area were Heather told us lots of interesting facts about space, especially shooting stars (P2 we know not all shooting stars are actually stars ⭐️ But are....🤣something else entirely🤣!) We really enjoyed the sensory area, we dressed up as rockets 🚀 and astronauts. 👩🚀👨🏼🚀 After lunch we enjoyed a movie all about space. We went on a space adventure and because our knowledge was so good we got to go on a space rolller coaster!
