‘Oh we do like to be beside the seaside, oh we do like to be beside the sea!’ 🎵🎶
To compliment our class topic Healthy Me 🏖️ we headed off on our adventure to Rossnowlagh. We boarded Johnny’s bus with our buckets and spades with super enthusiasm. We chatted, sang and played games to while away the journey. Then we could hear Mrs Black announce ‘I can see the sea, and the sea can see me!’ Oh the excitement! The sun was shining as we hit the sand. We enjoyed our delicious snack prepared for us by the ladies in Moat Primary kitchen. Then we got to work, some of us built sandcastles, some dug really deep holes, others made delicious sand ice creams for our teachers. 😋 We gathered sea shells 🐚 lots of different shapes and sizes.
The sea air made us hungry and we got to enjoy our packed lunches together on the beach 🏖️, yum yum! We helped our classmates finish all their building and then we had to head home. Johnny had the bus lovely and cool and we chatted all the way home about our lovely experience on the beach ☀️ Today lots of lovely memories were made, the sun shone, and we had lots of fun! We love P2/3!
