This week in P3 we have been busy. We enjoyed another session with Mrs Kirks from Musical pathways. We sang songs about Autumn. 🍂 We thought about the colder weather and what vegetables we would put in a pot of soup. 🍲 We sang songs about vegetables, we used our voices in lots of different ways, very loud, very low, cheerfully, we had lots of fun and even fitted in a few listening games!
In 4 Corner Coaching with Ross, we focused on team games. We warmed up then split up into teams and had a mini football tournament. We showed off our listening skills and picked up a lot of tips from Ross such as where to stand to defend our goal, or where to be to get the ball. We are a very competitive class!
In Numeracy we have been learning all about different lengths, we have measured lots of different things within our classroom, in our playground and even ourselves.
In our topic work this week Mrs Black read us the story of ‘Super Worm’ by Julia Donaldson. We have researched all about worms, we made our own worms, we crafted lots of different garden bugs, we wrote sentences all about worms. This is a fun topic.
