We hope you are ready to share our special photos from our wonderful trip to W5 in Belfast. We have had so much fun!
On arrival to school our bus was waiting for us. Our excitement was high. We had a very comfortable trip to Belfast and enjoyed looking out for landmarks along the way. We were very excited to see the SSE arena...we knew we were nearly there. Then we spotted the Famous Harland and Wolff cranes, Samson and Goliath...then the Titanic buildings...oh the anticipation!
On entering the W5 experience we were greeted with an access all areas ticket! We enjoyed our lunch and sang Happy Birthday, all while overlooking the fabulous Titanic quarter. We had a wonderful time in all the different areas and really enjoyed our allocated slot on climb it...the class climbed four stories high!
P4/5 had the opportunity to take part in a ‘Marvellous Machine’ work shop with Matt, after our briefing we eagerly got into groups of 3 and made our very own machine to move a ball over the green line...as always our competitive side shone out...SUCH FUN!
We bid a fond farewell to W5, had a lovely walk alongside the quayside, boarded our bus...and then had our treat of a McDonalds before heading home!
What a fantastic day had by all...!
