Some P7 boys created some beautiful chess pieces out of plaster. They first had to prepare the plaster mixture, by mixing plaster with water. The mixture needed to be stirred constantly and then quickly poured into moulds. After about 20-30 minutes the plaster had set, which meant that the moulds had to be peeled off. After that the delicate part of painting the little statues began. The boys did a lovely job and they will be able to bring their creations home after the pieces have dried out and have been coated with a special lacquer.
