P7 had an action packed first day at Gortatole. Following the half hour bus journey the P7’s were shown around the premises. The class was split up into two groups and went on their way to make their own beds, which proved tricky for some. After a fire drill they went to the “Shed” to play some team games. Lunch consisted of sausages rolls with baked beans and salad. After lunch, team A went caving in Boho and team B went canoeing. At 5pm there was a lovely dinner of curry and chips and for dessert a chocolate muffin with chocolate custard. In the evening more team games were played, which was followed by a supper of toast and tray bakes. A great first day, indeed.
