All roads led to Belfast on Sunday for the wonderful ‘Peace Proms’ and wow what a show! The boys and girls met up at the school with our dedicated staff members early on Sunday morning to set off on their adventure. Mrs McConkey brought her boom box and they all enjoyed a sing a long on their journey.
A MASSIVE shout out to our Principal Mrs McConkey, who has tirelessly rehearsed with the Moat Primary Peace Proms Choir, since the news came through that her application to participate in the show was accepted the excitement started. It was a huge achievement to get a place on the show for the second year running!
All parents, family members and friends who attended the SSE Arena on Sunday felt incredibly proud that their children were part of such a wonderful musical extravaganza, the show was absolutely breathtaking. The children, staff and audience sang, danced, clapped,, cheered and had the best experience.
