Today some of our class enjoyed participating in the Jubilee Choir which was made up of pupils from P3, P4, and P5. We entertained our very special guests Lord and Lady Erne.
Mrs Black introduced the Jubilee Bear ‘George’ whom we had all been trying to guess the name of. A number of pupils had picked out the winning name, so Lady Erne picked out the winning name of of the lucky girl, and then presented the Jubilee bear 🐻
Lord Erne, shared some of his tales from when he was a pupil at Moat Primary, and reminisced with a fellow past pupil who now is a member of our kitchen staff.
Lord and Lady Erne planted a tree to mark the Queen’s Green Canopy which is a unique tree planting initiative created to mark Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022.
To complete their visit Lord and Lady Erne met two pupils From P4, who had designed and created a Jubilee gift which was presented to them earlier and which they have hanging on show in their residence at Crom Castle.
