Pupils lay wreaths at WWI Centenary

2018 marks the centenary of the end of World War 1.  The first Remembrance Day was held in 1919, one year after the First World War ended.  Pupils in school have been learning about Armistice Day and the poppy emblem.  Many purchased poppies in school or items with poppies on them.  Many of our pupils attended Remembrance Day services on Sunday 11th November and a number were asked to lay wreaths.
